Poké Ball Gripper
Class: ME35 - Robotics
Skills: CAD, 3D Printing, Gears & Linkages

Project Description:
In this project, we designed and built a small gripper arm to grab a 3D-printed Poké Ball. The design required a set of gears and linkages, as well as a stepper motor, all controlled by a Raspberry Pi. The gripper arm had to securely hold the Poké Ball and transport it a distance of 2 feet without dropping it.

CAD
Using Onshape, we designed our gripper arm, which included two spur gears and a total of four linkages. The component that held the Poké Ball featured a small notch designed to fit the groove on the Poké Ball, ensuring a secure grip.
